The consortium of ADAPT consists of six partners from China and Austria, forming a  partnership developing synergies that strengthen each partner’s individual expertise.

Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt, Institute of Information Technology

Universität Klagenfurt (UNIKLU) is Carinthia’s largest academic institution and a hub for the whole of the Alps-Adriatic region in terms of knowledge acquisition, exchange, and transfer.  Within ADAPT UNIKLU is the lead and aims to improve network availability and optimize throughput (number of blockchain transactions) of decentralized logistic infrastructure services through smart-contract-based certification of the medical equipment supply chain between China and Austria.

Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Automation

Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Automation ​ (CASIA), as one of the earliest national automation institutes in China, was established in October, 1956.
The institute focuses on three main areas of intelligent technology: intelligent processing of massive information; intelligent control of complex systems; and integrated intelligent systems.

Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Computing Technology ​ ​ (ICT), The Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereafter ICT) was founded in 1956. The ICT is the cradle for China’s computer undertaking. With the development of science and technology, the ICT successively spun off many academic institutions, such as the Institute of Microelectronics, the Computing Center, the Institute of Software, the Network Information Center, etc. all affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as high-tech companies, such as Lenovo and Dawning. 

Johannes-Kepler-Universität Linz, Intelligent Transport Systems-Sustainable Transport Logistics 4.0

Johnannes Kepler Universität Linz (JKU), Intelligent Transport Systems Group, focus on the development of applications that rely on automated, connected technologies, for a sustainable transport development. Within ADAPT they aim o propose a generic sustainable and efficient transport network framework that will be tested on linking routes between China and Austria. To this end a Connected Automated and Sustainable Transport System Framework Setup will be defined, that aims to be  sustainable and efficient.
